The clients platform provides customers with the ability to search for and purchase food and beverage products as well as providing home delivery services. In contrast to its main competitors, the company has no chain of stores and performs all home deliveries from warehouses.
Challenge
The client needed to transform their existing online shop to a fully functioning marketplace providing grocers an ability to sell their products online and connect them to customers.
- Their primary objective was to create a comprehensive web platform providing maximum transparency and an efficient e-commerce infrastructure. With key marketplace functionalities in place, the vendors would be provided with the ability to sign-up, create a seller storefront, view their dashboard, add different types of products, manage orders, create an invoice and arrange shipment.
