Numerous AI-powered solutions were showcased during the conference, illustrating how Microsoft partners can leverage these AI innovations across their organizations.

During his opening speech, Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO of Microsoft, expressed his gratitude to all partners for their invaluable innovations and commitment to Microsoft:

It’s a very special time for us to be at a partner conference to really celebrate not only the technology but, most importantly, the excellence in our partner ecosystem.”

  1. Bing Chat Enterprise and New Visual Search Feature: The announcement of Bing Chat Enterprise, an AI-powered chat for work with commercial data protection, was one of the central revelations highly anticipated by many CIOs, CISOs, and business users. The Enterprise version ensures that company data remains protected during Bing login and chat sessions. Additionally, the new Visual Search feature was added to the Bing Chat, enabling Bing to accept both images and text inputs and analyze uploaded images to provide insightful information about them.
  2. Optimizing Business Processes with Power Automate Process Mining: The general availability of Power Automate Process Mining was announced. This accessible toolchain allows users to map out their business processes and optimize them using AI capabilities. It provides organizations with a comprehensive understanding of their business operations, maximizes process insights, simplifies complex processes, and drives continuous improvement through automation and low-code apps.
  3. Microsoft and OpenAI: Microsoft shared some notes about its partnership with OpenAI, underscoring its strong commitment to driving innovation and advancing AI capabilities. As part of this commitment, Microsoft announced OpenAI's APIs expansion into North America and Europe, granting access to more users in these regions. Additionally, OpenAI will be deploying its APIs in Asia for the first time.
  4. Partnership Expansion with Meta's Llama 2 on Azure and Windows: The integration of Meta's Llama 2 on both Azure and Windows platforms was announced. Meta has made significant advancements in open-source models, and Llama 2 is specifically designed to enable developers and organizations to build generative AI-powered tools and experiences. As part of this collaboration, Meta's Llama 2 will be incorporated into the Azure AI model catalog, serving as the foundation for widely adopted cutting-edge and open models. Furthermore, Llama will be optimized for efficient use on Windows, enhancing its accessibility and usability.
  5. New Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program: Most importantly, Microsoft unveiled its new Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, aiming to empower partners to leverage the full potential of the AI era. This program provides additional support to partners for building AI-based applications, modernizing existing applications with new AI technologies, and assisting customers in migrating services to the cloud more efficiently. It offers exclusive benefits tailored specifically for AI-related initiatives, in addition to the existing program’s value and benefits.
