Client
One of the biggest retailers in North America with 30+ warehouses and 4 huge transport parks.
Challenge
The client wanted to meet all Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Criteria and ISO 50001 and 140001 requirements and needed to optimize all processes and have an opportunity to dig deeper into the data and analytics behind it. As well as pervade ESG ambitions (connected to raw materials input, manufacturing, packaging, and delivery) into their software.
Solution
DataArt developed a research group to understand all specific requirements from all international organizations and client itself. Our team figured out that the main part of the project will be a flexible and user-friendly software to manage CO2 emission.
After that a carbon footprint and make strategies to reduce it.
Manage all of your emissions in the same place without external tools. Then it was essential to develop the project management part, so every manager would have a clear understanding of every small process.
Since reducing a carbon footprint was the most essential for our client, we created some standardized data collection and calculations for GHG emissions, energy, water, and other usage and costs. This component pulls data from different data sources, data lakes, and third-party systems across all facilities via APIs and external data sources, that allow enriching data. DataArt has added recommendations, notifications and the ability to use both basic ML models and make a custom one. So now the component has standard features and advanced ML opportunities to maximize value at each iteration.
