The client has a lot of different communications around the globe to ensure that business work smoothly and all processes are optimized. But the biggest problem for this kind of company is that it is hard to keep everything in one place and coordinate all the data flawlessly. There are a lot of business units and processes that run simultaneously. So, data that are needed during negotiations with suppliers reside in multiple disconnected systems making it difficult for sourcing managers to make informed decisions.
The company was searching for a tool that could increase the efficiency of their tender analysis and improve procurement performance (lower cost, lower risk) while also enabling them to incorporate internal and external data points and business requirements into their decision-making. DataArt created a platform that helps managers to identify suppliers for items to be purchased and negotiate contract terms with them. As a result, the procurement execution teams (i.e., buyers, buy desks) have the option to place purchase orders with suppliers at a negotiated price and agree on performance level (delivery in full, at an acceptable quality, business continuity, ability to scale, expertise, diversity etc.) to fulfill requests on time.
