The approval confirms that the company’s ambitious climate action plan aligns with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Standards and Guidance (Criteria version 5.2), reinforcing DataArt’s commitment to sustainability and responsible corporate citizenship. SBTi Services has classified DataArt Enterprises, Inc’s scope 1 and 2 target ambition as being in conformance with the SBTi Standards and Guidance, marking a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing environmental efforts.
The official near-term science-based targets set by DataArt Enterprises, Inc include:
- A commitment to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 56.6% by 2030, using 2019 as the base year.
- A commitment to increase active annual sourcing of renewable electricity from 52% in 2019 to 100% by 2030.
- A commitment to reduce scope 3 GHG emissions by 56% per USD value added by 2030 from a 2019 base year.
