DataArt Releases Version 1.4 of Charting Solution for Microsoft® .NET
New York, October 3, 2006 – DataArt released a new version of NETChart for Microsoft .NET Framework, a powerful full-featured charting solution for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.
DataArt NETChart provides full control of a chart’s graphic representation and customization, automatic and manual data-binding as well as an easy-to-implement drill-down chart mode, among other features. The release is completely dedicated to Microsoft WinForms.NET support, unavailable in the previous version of the component library. The solution now covers both commercially used platforms from Microsoft (Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0) and both ASP.NET and WinForms.NET technologies.
DataArt’s upgraded software features improved data presentation quality (date and time-based series rendering), vertical and horizontal axis label support, side by side installation of components for different versions of Microsoft .NET frameworks, redistributable merge module for Windows installer and an advanced series marker shape control. In addition, the program offers a broader selection of chart types and sub-types. Based on user feedback, DataArt enhanced quality product features such as rendering quality, text anti-aliasing control, chart printing and printing preview.
Dennis Afanassiev, Product Manager of DataArt NETChart said, “Developers using Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft .NET Framework now have a solid and uniform support for massive data presentation, regardless of the framework version and type of application they are dealing with.”
NETChart is an affordable and fully functional solution for graphical reporting and representation of massive numeric data. The NETChart framework is implemented on pure C#, and is fully integrated with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. The component is written entirely on Microsoft.NET and uses methods from the framework, ensuring safe and efficient performance. Importantly, it is delivered with an MSDN-style help system, with code snippets and sample projects, allowing for a quick access and easy references.
DataArt NETChart Engine is available for Microsoft .NET 1.1 and Microsoft .NET 2.0. It is integrated with both ASP.NET and WinForms.NET delivery technologies and fully integrated into Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 development infrastructure. The system uses the same code base, and therefore all the versions are functionally equivalent with no regards to platform and technology of delivery.
