DataArt to Exhibit at Microsoft's Build 2015 Conference

NEW YORK – April 29, 2015DataArt, a technology consulting firm that creates end-to-end solutions, will be exhibiting at Build 2015 in San Francisco, one of the main IoT events of the year. DataArt will demonstrate how its Open Source M2M/IoT framework, DeviceHive, can be used to identify early warning signs for operating equipment outages, using Microsoft Azure and Canonical's Ubuntu OpenStack.

DataArt has recently formed a strategic partnership with Canonical, integrating DeviceHive with Snappy Ubuntu Core and Juju Charms. Now that it’s available on the Azure Marketplace, anybody can run the DeviceHive charms on Azure in minutes to connect smart devices to a big data back-end almost instantly.

Artyom Astafurov, Senior Vice President of IoT/M2M Practice at DataArt, will demonstrate how potential malfunctions could be determined based on the equipment vibration profiles, which can be captured and used to trigger a maintenance alert when a machine’s vibrations are outside of its typical operating range.  The demo will showcase that using DeviceHive on Azure and Ubuntu eliminates the need for conducting an expensive discovery and prototyping study.
