Big Data Travel Analytics Firm Turns to DataArt for Process Automation
DataArt, a custom software development company that builds advanced solutions for select industries, has successfully completed its first project for Triometric, a leading provider of business intelligence and operational analytics to travel companies.
Triometric enables its customers to develop data-driven strategies to succeed in the highly competitive online travel industry, and prides itself on its excellent customer service, enabled in part through proactive health checking of its performance monitoring and business analytics platform, a process that includes some manual input.
Triometric commissioned DataArt to help streamline this process as part of its on-going investment in business efficiency and customer service. DataArt developed automatic monitoring and intelligent visualisation for Triometric’s health checking of its XML analytics platform located within customer environments. DataArt specialists created a customised real-time operational dashboard that gives the Triometric customer services team an easy-to-read ‘traffic light’ alert system into an array of performance, availability and capacity indicators.
“Our growing client base depends on Triometric’s analytics platform for their real-time business insight and strong operational performance is key to our ability to deliver on that,” said Matthew Goulden, CEO at Triometric. “By automating monitoring functions we have strengthened the support we give our customers as they track and filter increasingly vast swathes of data. Working with DataArt as a trusted partner on this project meant we had the external expertise we needed to expedite bringing its benefits to our customers, and leave our internal resource free to focus on the fine tuning of our platform and excellent client servicing.”
Triometric and DataArt worked collaboratively to plan the automation project and define the key performance indicators. The project was delivered on time and on budget, and has increased Triometric’s ability to identify and trouble-shoot server and application issues before they happen.
“Triometric is leading the industry in helping its clients manage the strategic use of Big Data. In such a fast-moving market, where operational performance can make or break a business’ ability to compete, this project not only improves their back-end processes, but gives Triometric the tools they need to exceed their customer expectations in terms of service delivery,” said Charlotte Lamp-Davies, VP Travel & Hospitality, Europe at DataArt.
Triometric’s technical customer service team can now easily identify IT system performance issues and potential capacity needs before they happen, easily configure new client environments, and ensure that its clients with 24/7 support agreements are well looked after.
Following this first successful project, Triometric and DataArt plan to continue their partnership in future projects.
