DataArt, a custom software development company that builds advanced solutions for select industries, today announced the completion of MyEmotions: Tune Into Your Feelings, a free mobile app that interprets people’s emotions with acute accuracy and provides remarkable insight into the state of the user’s subconscious. In collaboration with Yord Inc. (www.yordapps.com), a leader in psychology-based mobile applications, DataArt’s design provides insight into a person’s psyche and translates what their moods are trying to tell them, helping users get in better touch with emotions.
Yord Inc. engaged DataArt to help develop an app that incorporates traditional psychological techniques to gauge emotions in real time so that mobile users can more thoughtfully react to situations. The MyEmotions app can determine a person’s mood from among 62 different emotional states through a series of two-minute tests, which include body localization, color preferences and semantic differences to help determine the user’s emotional state.
The app’s interface collaborates with Yord’s proprietary interpretation engine, developed by trained psychologists and PhDs, to analyze the user’s emotions and offer a detailed description of feelings and how they might apply it to their current situation. DataArt provided MyEmotions users with the ability to share these emotional survey results through email, Facebook and Twitter.
“Our collaboration with Yord has created a new level of emotional understanding for mobile users,” said Eugene Goland, President of DataArt. “The MyEmotions app signals a movement for more holistic life experiences on mobile devices. We are dedicated to not only meeting our clients’ vision, but remaining agile to adapt to all forms of industry changes and demands.”
"The success of Yord is largely due to our development partner, DataArt, whose global vision, technical acumen and dedication to excellence is truly impressive. We have a slew of other projects and DataArt will remain our implementation partner of choice," said Dmitry Butalov, CEO of Yord Inc.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the mobile app is available and compatible with iPhone®, iPod touch® and iPad® devices. The MyEmotions app can be downloaded for free here.
The Gold version of the app is launched on Valentine’s Day, and is available for $0.99 instead of $2.99, for a limited period of time.
