DataArt Posts Results of Orange [Food and Beverage Close - Up]
“DataArt, a custom software development company that builds solutions for select industries, announced the initial results of DataArt Orange, a series of research and development projects that aim to automate the tracking of users' nutrition habits. According to a release, the DataArt Orange program automatically tracks calorie information by scanning photographs of food. DataArt Orange technology can currently note over 100 foods with an 85 percent success rate. DataArt said DataArt Orange utilizes various technologies, from visual food recognition and geo-positioning to semantic web, to log information from users..
