The OpenTravel Alliance provides a community where companies in the electronic distribution supply chain work together to create an accepted structure for electronic messages, enabling suppliers and distributors to speak the same interoperability language, trading partner to trading partner.
OpenTravel is comprised of companies representing airlines, car rental firms, hotels, cruise lines, railways, leisure suppliers, service providers, tour operators, travel agencies, solutions providers, technology companies and distributors. Tens of thousands of OpenTravel message structures are in use, carrying tens of millions of messages between trading partners every day.
Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals
Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals (HFTP) is the international professional association serving members working in hospitality. Since 1952, HFTP has been dedicated to providing members with extraordinary networking opportunities, industry-leading certification programs and events, and essential resources for professional growth.
Travel Technology Initiative
The Travel Technology Initiative (TTI) was founded in 1989 to establish technology standards within the travel industry. At that time, a number of leading travel companies recognised the benefits of using common system interfaces and documentation and agreed to form an industry wide group to develop technology standards.
Since then, TTI membership has grown to over 80 members covering countries across Europe and the USA. In that time, TTI has become the recognised authority on Electronic Data Interchange and e-commerce within the European travel industry and has also developed and introduced standardised ticket formats both for ATB2 and more traditional coupons.
HOSPA is an independent association bringing together hospitality’s Finance, Revenue Management and IT professionals with an aim to develop members core skills, careers, through networking with peers keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
They offer a wide range of opportunities for members, from conferences and workshops addressing industry specific topics to webinars. Benefitting from the flexibility of membership, members can become part of specialist communities with like-minded individuals in Finance, Revenue Management and IT. Members can also participate in and learn from the other communities, giving HOSPA members a professional edge in the workplace.
