Ugandan Musicians Create Fan Chants for the New F4F World Game developed by DataArt
New York, October 12, 2020 — DataArt, a global technology consultancy that designs, develops and supports unique software solutions, in partnership with Football for Friendship and an international team of developers (Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Brazil, Australia, and China) is creating a new online game, the Football for Friendship World (F4F World) football simulator. One compelling feature of the game will be fan chants recorded by a group of Ugandan musicians.
The new simulator will have several special features. There will be three modes of play: football player, coach, and fan. For the fan mode, musicians are recording more than 40 tracks featuring 18 chants of varying levels of difficulty (with and without music). Over 30 musicians from different countries of the world are creating the sound design for the game.
As fans, players will have the opportunity to choose teams, earn fan merchandise, and support their favorite players. The quality of fan chants will increase player speed, impact recovery following injury, and give teams additional points.
Andrey Inyushin, Project Manager, Web-Portal and Back Office at DataArt notes:
«What is football? First of all, football is emotions. It invokes incredibly strong emotions, and it doesn’t matter whether you are playing, watching your favorite team play, or playing an online game. You want to experience these intense emotions and share them with your teammates, your friends. That’s why the element of fan support plays such an important role in developing the F4F World simulator»
The release of the simulator is scheduled for Autumn 2020. The game has been created with the support of the Football for Friendship, an international social program that helps organize real time games with teams including players from around the world. The format is the same as in the offline championships of Football for Friendship, which unite players from 211 countries and regions of the world.
Kay Davis, a musician from Uganda shares:
«I’m lucky to be involved in Football for Friendship. We were so amazed by this game, which unites a whole world that we created. We’re delighted to have written the project’s anthem,».
«When we found out that the online game was being developed, we wanted to participate in the sound design. We hope that the players like our fan chants, and that everyone will be able to immerse themselves in the game atmosphere, and truly experience the emotions connected with the sport.»
The Football for Friendship program has been implemented in 211 countries around the world. The UEFA, FIFA, other national football federations, the world’s leading football clubs, and international charity foundations, as well as famous athletes, politicians, and artists, all support Football for Friendship. The project has received 49 national and international awards in the field of social responsibility, sports, and communications, including the world record for the most nationalities in a football training session in history.
DataArt is the developer of the F4F World game. It will be available on MS Windows, Apple macOS, Android, iOS.
