DataArt to Participate in THack Berlin 2015
NEW YORK & London – February 26, 2015 — DataArt today announced that it will be participating in the weekend hackathon, THack Berlin 2015 from February 28 to March 1. THack requires each company to code a working mobile or web application in 24 hours that helps travelers discover, enhance and share their travel journeys.
At the event, developers from DataArt's Travel & Hospitality Practice will offer unique and actionable insight into customers' behavior while on tours and activities. The 2015 THack event will be the fourth year of DataArt's participation and the first year that they will attend onsite rather than participate remotely.
Companies, including Lufthansa, GetYourGuide and Sabre will be providing access to their proprietary APIs to use in programming solutions to four challenges, including inspiration and discovery, local concierge, accommodations, and route planning.
THack is assembled through a partnership between Tnooz, the leading source of global news and analysis about travel tech, and ITB Berlin. It brings together more than 100 developers and leading travel and travel technology companies for a creative competition that seeks solutions to the challenges facing the travel technology market today.
