Pupils Trial New Online Safety Lessons
BBC News reports that St. Paul’s Primary School is among six schools piloting Dot Com Digital, a safety resource developed by DataArt and aimed at protecting students from being groomed and exploited on the internet.
“Dot Com Digital was launched this week with the help of Staffordshire Police which said the scheme was aimed at teaching them the risks of the digital world."
"The youngsters at St Paul's Primary School, Longton, are among 2,000 across the country trying out the lessons before they are set to be rolled out nationally in October."
"Technology firm DataArt is behind the project and promises changes will be made based on feedback from pupils and teachers.”
