Vica Miller is a veteran of the communications industry and a recognized expert in public relations. She joined DataArt in 2005 as Vice President to develop a comprehensive communications strategy, was appointed SVP in 2008, and has been leading global communications with the focus on North America and Western Europe.
Vica assured DataArt’s placement on the map of the U.S. and European media, with hundreds of feature placements in trade and national media, including BusinessWeek (cover story), The New Yorker, The Washington Post, Forbes, FT, The Guardian, and others. She initiated and oversaw the implementation of DataArt’s unified branding, and established consistent communications framework across all media channels to ensure ongoing press coverage. She leads the efforts of several PR agencies and manages internal PR teams to assure DataArt’s visibility across key industries. With her help, DataArt has been repeatedly recognized as one of the world’s top technology firms by numerous industry watchdogs.
Prior to DataArt, Vica ran her own consulting firm, served as Director of Marketing and Advertising for the Kremlin Cup tennis tournament and contributed to the development of Sonicnet (now MTVi) and AOL Digital City. She has launched and taught a New Media course at Hunter College (CUNY) and later taught Public Relations there.
Vica is the founder of the Vica Miller Literary Salons and a published author. She holds a Master's degree in Interactive Telecommunications (ITP) from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and a BA in Film & Media from Hunter College, CUNY.
