React.js Developer (Team Lead), Media Conglomerate

Position Overview

DataArt is involved in the software transformation of key business areas of a US -based global music conglomerate.

The solutions we’re currently developing affect various aspects of recording studios: tour organization, merchandising, management of licenses and rights, and analytical tools.

DataArt has developed a platform that allows you to reuse functional units and thereby reduce the cost of creating and supporting applications.

The specialist we are looking for will join a distributed team of 50+ people from DataArt and teams from the client’s side. The focus of the role will be on a significant initiative related to the client’s data platform.

This project will allow you to gain experience in working with complex systems and will introduce you to different aspects of the music business.

ABOUT DATAART

Responsibilities

  • Lead and work with offshore team members
  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of frontend development experience using React.js
  • Hands-on experience working with TypeScript
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Skills in working with GitHub
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirement
  • Able to work in a highly dynamic team environment

Nice to have

  • Skills working with Angular.js
  • Knowledge of AWS
