Senior React.js Engineer, Cybersecurity Solutions

Position Overview

Our client is a British company that builds cybersecurity solutions protecting users of web and mobile applications, as well as telephony. They use biometric user data for authentication.

The project consists of three main parts: the mobile application, as well as web platforms for the new and old versions. DataArt is assembling a team of developers, testers, DevOps, and a project manager to work on a new version of the platform.


Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of web development experience
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES5, ES6)
  • Solid knowledge and practical experience with React.js framework
  • Experience working with the following frameworks and libraries: Angular.js, Backbone.js, jQuery, Lo-Dash, Vanilla JS (ES5+)
  • Experience with 3rd-party services integrations: embedding iFrames, importing and configuring SDK for specific UI libraries and vanilla JS, deep understanding cross-applications commutations using JWT/OAuth
  • Experience with Authentication and Authorization mechanism: Local authentication (Sessions, JWT), OpenOD/OAuth, Multi Factor Authentication, experiences of configuration 3rd-party vendors, understanding of authorization process in nutshell, experience with JS-related approaches, understanding of each of OWASP Top Ton applications security risks (injections, exposures, XXE, XSS etc), ability to explain how to mitigate or prevent them;
  • Knowledge of Babel or Typescript transpiration process;
  • Knowledge of network communications protocols, HTTPS, WSS, tunnels
  • Fundamental knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, HTTP
  • Spoken English.
