QA Automation, Fintech Solutions

Position Overview

The client is a global fintech company with over several billion in revenue, providing technologies and tools for financial institutions worldwide. The client has the appetite to disrupt the way market participants connect by launching a new investment management platform.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will join the team responsible for the platform, managing the full investment lifecycle, to be built around DLT and cloud infrastructure. The client’s team members are located in New York and London, so there will be verbal/written communication in English, and it will be required to match working hours with them for a few hours. It would be a plus for the candidate to have experience with capital markets and private equity.

Technology stack QAA: Playwright C#/.NET. Technological stack of solution: Java Spring Boot 4, Angular 10, AWS, Terraform, etc.


Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in QA automation using .Net/C#.
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience and skills to automate using different testing approaches to reach the necessary level of quality.
  • Experience writing SQL queries of various complexity for one of the mainstream databases: Oracle, MSSQL, MySql, PostgreSQL
  • Ability to manage expectations and select the testing approach necessary for the expected level of quality and to provide delivery on time.
  • Experience in writing test documentation (test plans, test cases, etc.)
  • Experience in managing an issue tracker and writing meaningful bug reports.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Usage of manual testing in addition to automatization if it is required to control the necessary quality of a product and its stability.
  • Spoken and written English proficiency

Nice to have

  • Financial domain knowledge or private equity domain experience
