Front-End Developer

Position Overview

The client is an American startup that collects data on contacts between people. DataArt’s specialists have already completed the development phase of the solution, and active development is in the plans. This solution will integrate with an IoT vendor, which provides a notification service. The project involves creating a cloud agnostic application architecture from scratch. Two SCRUM teams + Product Owner are planned.


Required Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience with web technologies
  • Thorough knowledge of JavaScript (ES5, ES6+)
  • Experience with AngularJS, Angular or React.js
  • Knowledge of Flux architecture, experience with Redux
  • Understanding of REST API
  • Familiarity with of HTML5, CSS
  • Experience with build tools (Webpack)
  • Ability to work with version control systems
  • Familiarity with CI systems
  • Good spoken English

Nice to have

  • Deep understanding and experience with WebSockets protocol
  • Experience with Vue.js
  • Experience with MobX
  • Experience with implementing unit tests in JavaScript using Karma, Jasmine, Jest, Mocha etc.
  • Experience with various CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation) and approaches (pre/post-processing, CSS modules, Radium etc.).
