Data Analyst, Fintech Solutions

Position Overview

Our client is a successful fintech start-up based in London. The client provides a software platform and an open API for the banking industry. The open API allows fintech enterprises to access banking services, create digital wallets, connect them, receive, send, and convert funds, launch new cards, and administer loans. The range of services and geographical presence of the client are growing fast.

We are looking for a data analyst who will join the client’s data and analytics team.

The client uses AWS data and analytics stack, Databricks/Spark (PySpark), Fivetran, Looker, Snowflake.



  • Capture business requirements across a range of business units and translate them into analytical data models and BI dashboards which address client needs
  • Become an expert in Looker and Snowflake
  • Ensuring adherence to the clients security policies and data quality practices
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the BI implementations
  • Be a point of contact for business stakeholders in relation to the use of data & analytics in general and BI dashboards in particular for their business needs

Required Skills and Experience

  • Data analysis skills
  • Expertise in using Looker or another BI toolset for building dashboards/visualizations/reports
  • Skills working with data insights etc. treatment of data - e.g. sensitive data
  • Strong business intuition and ability to understand complex business systems
  • SQL and data modelling skills
  • Spoken English

Nice to have

  • Experience with Power BI, modern data stores and data warehouses – Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, BigQuery
  • Data Engineering skills and technologies – Python, Spark, ETL tools
