Project management and time tracking
DataArt's Project Manager was designed to improve the organization and maintenance of group activities in mid-sized to large companies. As such, it provides an ideal tool for companies currently utilizing a matrix management structure. The system collates company resources in a shared pool for project planning while monitoring the skills and workloads of individual employees. Since DataArt's software can be integrated with popular tools including Microsoft Project, experienced Project Managers may commence use almost immediately.
The system employs "thin client" technology and is Web-based. Thus, it may be used to enhance customer-vendor communication, serving in many cases as a supply chain automation tool. Flexible request and file storage sub-systems ensure the rapid and simple performance of the most complex processes.
Developed using an open architecture ideology, the malleable design of the system can deliver far-reaching benefits to the workplace. It can, for example, be incorporated with wireless devices such as PDAs or late generation mobile phones, enabling field workers to participate in the on-site working process. In addition, most system parameters can be adjusted to suit a diverse range of business models. Existing CRM and Billing systems are easily integrated.
Boasting multiple report and analysis features, the system has been refined to ensure early prediction, detection and rectification of potential problems. The on-line reporting function may be accessed by company managers and customers alike. In this way, it serves to foster company-client communication.
