This DataArt solution was developed as a global shopping gateway, providing an easily accessible entrypoint to off-line stores. Based on the model of the large department store, the system gathers products from different vendors within a single locale. It offers customers an intuitive interface and clear navigation system as well as powerful search tools.
The system comprises two parts: Back Office and Front End (or public user interface).
Using the Back Office tool set, consumers can control such system properties as data structure, documents flow and interface appearance. The XML/XSL based interface enables changes to be made to the appearance of the mall without altering core elements of the system.
Retailers participating in the system are each provided with an individual, private area as well as full control over published product offers and ensuing statistics. Statistical information can be accessed by way of the Microsoft OLAP engine.
A demonstration of the product can be provided upon request.
