This DataArt product comprises universal structured document storage as well as dual sub-system Content Management and Content Publishing. The system has the capacity to collate articles, photographs, multimedia content as well as external links. Critical features include:
Facility to create and support one or more editing/publication process(es). Authors, editors, correctors and designers are thus able to work on materials within the system simultaneously without additional tools or special skills.
Facility to create and manage different editorial processes. The workflow sub-system provides tools for tracking the status of every process participant. Moreover, the "remote author support" sub-system allows editors to maintain and organize a range of authors working from a variety of geographic locations. All materials are accessible online.
In addition, the system allows for a set of Web resources to be organized and stored as a single document. Once configured, such resources would enable the selection of information on an auto-generated theme, thus working in the frame of "reusable content". An article about Michael Jordan's pet dog could, for example, be automatically included within e-magazines dedicated to both basketball and dogs. Such a facility has the advantage of conducting synchronized marketing actions on several sites simultaneously. It has the capacity to extend advertisement targeting greatly. Close partnership with Microsoft has enabled the preparation of a .NET-based prototype of the system.
