Software Development Outsourcing Services

DataArt’s focus is exclusively on Software Engineering: Design, Development, QA and Deployment of custom software systems.
With over a dozen years of experience, several industry-focused practice groups, over 200 clients and 1,500 successful projects, we know what matters most in a software project:

  • People. We – and our clients - have no patience for mediocre teams and mediocre systems. We hire the best and make them better – in large part, by trusting them with some of the most advanced software development work available.
  • Discipline – to keep eyes on the target, to be honest and to stay aware of risks. For all that’s been said and written by others about structured software development methodologies, there is a woeful lack of discipline following them.
  • Knowledge – our clients hire us to do things better, which is different from hiring someone to do things cheaper, or what they can do themselves if only they had the time. To live up to that standard, we have to know more than anyone else on the market about technology, the science of software engineering, the industries we serve and our client’s business. And we never stop learning.
  • Connection – at the end of the day, software does not get done in a boardroom. A heap of corporate PowerPoint presentations is also of little help. Quality software gets done by two teams – the vendor’s and the client’s, working together as if they were one. The two teams need to know, understand and respect each other.

Unlike most other outsourcing firms, our focus is razor-sharp: new application development, QA and optimization. That’s it. We believe that while others expand to BPO, call centers or ERP implementations they lose their edge in software. Too often one hears this comment from a disillusioned client of one of the self-proclaimed “global IT services providers”: “that vendor is good for maintenance of an existing system, but is not effective in building new ones”. For years, DataArt advocated multi-sourcing: a client can and should work with a limited number of best-in-class outsourcing service vendors. Clients hire DataArt to do one thing and one thing only: develop new systems and they know we’re the best in the world in doing just that.
