DataArt Sponsors “Children of St. Petersburg” Benefit Exhibit in St. Petersburg, Russia

DataArt participated as a sponsor of the “Children of St. Petersburg” benefit exhibit and auction at the Museum of Russian History in St. Petersburg, Russia. The event was organized by the Russian American Business Development Association (RABDA) and FeelGood (a student group from St. Petersburg State University) in order to raise much needed funding for local charities helping underprivileged children.

The event was coordinated in conjunction with the Russian Children’s Welfare Society (RCWS), an organization established in 1926 that focuses their efforts on assisting children in Russia. RCWS aid is directed at supporting orphanages and homeless shelters, medical care and the training of Russian doctors, rehabilitation centers for the disabled or mentally challenged, educational scholarships, and a yearly holiday party in Moscow for over 2,000 children. Partner organizations of the RCWS in St. Petresburg such as the “Our Help” Rehabilitation Center, Nikolski Orphanage, and All-Russian Infectious Disease Hospital in St. Petersburg are the beneficiaries of funds raised by the evening.
