DataArt Expands Operations in Russia

DataArt expanded its development facilities in Russia by opening a new R&D center in Voronezh, a major industrial center in the Central Black Earth Region. The new office is a dedicated facility of DataArt Inc., with integrated project management, IT infrastructure and corporate communications.
Voronezh office is staffed with over a dozen experts in J2EE and C++ applications, and is planned to grow ten fold in the near future. Key application areas of the new office are ERP systems, assets management tools, financial technology and IT infrastructure management. The city of Voronezh is a major Russian administrative, industrial, and cultural centre, with a population of over one million. It hosts a number of large IT companies with expertise in ERP, Oracle applications, real-time systems development and CAD, and is home to Voronezh State University.
"DataArt is in the business of global sourcing and efficient access to HR markets beyond our original location is an important strategic objective," said Eugene Goland, President of DataArt. "Voronezh was a natural step in our expansion efforts as it offers a large pool of higher than average talent."
