DataArt Conference in St. Petersburg Introduces Expertise Based Outsourcing

August 25, 2005
DataArt's quarterly conference in St. Petersburg outlined the company's strategy for the near future. The company's executives stressed the importance of continuing the diversification based on expertise: making a transition from an outsourcing vendor to an expertise based outsourcing consultancy.

Michael Zavileysky, COO, reviewed the steps being taken during the transition and encouraged employee initiatives in career advancement, from continuing education to expertise sharing. Eugene Goland introduced the concept of Global Project Management (GPM), which allows businesses to engage the most relevant resources from the global talent pool.

Alexei Miller reviewed the company's recent success in the financial technology, including signing of two new clients in alternative investment management space. Vica Vinogradova discussed media strategy and analyst relations, including a recent briefing with Gartner. Dmitry Bagrov, Alexey Botev, Denis Margolin and Artem Artemyev shared the scope of the company's most recent projects. The conference's happy ending was a traditional Beer Thursday, where members of DataArt team presented a different kind of diversity – talents - from puzzle solving to singing and dancing.
