Beta delivery stage of Cancer Research UK Project is marked as success

March 07, 2005
DataArt is happy to announce that beta version of Application Management System was successfully demonstrated in Cancer Research UK offices. The system has been under development since October 2004 and is an important milestone. The work of DataArt's development team received many compliments from the client for the technical excellence and professionalism.

Application Management System is a complicated web-application, based on ASP.NET technology. In the process of its development, DataArt's team had to solve many unordinary tasks, such as: complicated users workflows, multistage roles and entity-based security, implementation of PDF-generation and many others.

DataArt's Project Manager Daniel Chertock returned from London, where he demonstrated the beta version of the AMS system. "The demo actually took two days, due to the system's system complexity, and went quite smoothly. Project Supervisors from Cancer Research UK had a lot of technical inquires, but in general there was no negative feedback, and most of the remarks were in the area of fine-tuning and clarifications", Chertok said.

Cancer Research UK is one of the world's leading charities dedicated to research on the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer. It supports the work of over 3,000 scientists, doctors and nurses across the UK and funds many other scientists at UK Universities. Cancer Research UK's annual scientific spend is more than ?213 million, which is raised almost entirely through public donations.
