Alexander Makeyenkov

Senior Vice President of Capital Markets at DataArt

Alexander joined DataArt in 1998 to lead consulting engagements for the company’s key clients. In 2004, he and Alexey Miller launched the Financial Technology practice, which Alexander co-leads, overseeing marketing, business development and client management in the segment. He also heads DataArt's office in Switzerland.

Prior to DataArt, Alexander worked as an IT manager at the North-West Insurance Company in St. Petersburg, focusing on IT infrastructure projects. He has MS in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science from St. Petersburg State Marine Technical University (SPbGMTU), holds an MBA from Stockholm School of Economics and is a PhD candidate in mathematical modeling and algorithmic optimization at SPbGMTU.
