Mikhail Zavileysky, head of DataArt's St. Petersburg office, has recently begun taking a new course at the Stockholm School of Economics called, "Branding - Corporate Religion".

The curriculum is lead by teachers who have acquired practical experience within many areas and are well known as strategic brand consultants.
Divided into three modules, the course takes place in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Stockholm. The first module, "Knowing the Brand", is dedicated to the management, development, and relationship qualities of brands. The second module, "Building the Brand", includes 4D branding, commercial myth creation, brand archetypes, and corporate religion. And the third module, "Living the Brand", explores international, corporate, and personal brand building strategies.
Over the period of study, Mikhail will develop a strategic Company Brand Development Project.

Mikhail Zavileysky back from New York
May 21, 2004
The main purpose of Mikhail Zavileysky's recent visit to the New York office, from the 8th to the 18th, was to agree key dimensions of the business plan for the next three years. In the first draft of the plan, which should be completed by the beginning of the third quarter this year, future goals and values of the company were laid out. In the near future DataArt's main direction of development will be to specialize and focus on areas where expertise is important for clients; this will increase the company’s value and allow a move from subcontracting to partnership.
DataArt Delegation Back from NY
May 18, 2004
The team of leading programmers and account managers returned today from their New York business trip. The team visited the headquarters of a major New York based asset management firm. DataArt developed a set of financial applications based on the business workflows of the client and implemented them using the most up-to-date, efficient, and robust technologies. These technologies include the Microsoft .NET Framework as a platform, Infragistics NetAdvantage controls for the presentation layer, and Web Services for intercommunication. Since these financial applications are already in use, the main focus of the trip was regular field support and gathering feedback from the end users. Members of the delegation enjoyed direct communication with the IT department of the client over cups of coffee. Understanding as much as possible the needs of the client, and close collaboration with him to achieve better results, are the keys to DataArt’s continuing success.
Higher education is a valued priority for DataArt.
May 17, 2004
As seven of our employees graduate from their institutes and colleges this summer, the number of DataArt’s well educated youth increases again. We see no end to this trend because DataArt currently employs five other full time students in full time positions. This successful multitasking ability is implemented everywhere at DataArt!
Quite a number of postgraduate employees perform on the DataArt team as well. Some of them help provide DataArt with partners and advisors in R&D , and they actively participate in expanding our knowledge base.
