Java experts from DataArt attend Borland Enterprise-Java ALM Solutions Seminar.

First CMM training session held.

Organized as a weekly series of lectures and seminars, Professor Dmitry Koznov of St. Petersburg State University examines certain areas of certification systems and related methods of software development. Eugene Goland, President of DataArt, gave a presentation at the CIO Community of Practice Meeting in Silicon Valley and participated in the round table discussion. The topic of this meeting was the practice of off-shoring. Eugene Goland presented the details and advantages of using Russian software outsourcing firms. Topics discussed included security, means of communication, US job loss, and cost savings. The CIO Community of Practice membership includes leading Silicon Valley IT firms, such as Synopsis, Yahoo, Alcatel, and Symantec.
