Pavel Khrapkin

Mikhail VaynshenkerPavel Khrapkin is a veteran of the IT industry. He started his career as a software developer and engineer in Nuclear Physics Institute at the Siberian Academy Township. In the 80s he participated in the development of ALISA software for Adaptive Local network infrastructure, which became widely used by major Soviet enterprises. He was also an active promoter of DECUS – a non-profit organization of the DEC computer users – in the then -USSR.

In 1991 he was hired by Digital Equipment Corporation as the Channel Development manager, and later on – as Director of St. Peterburgs’s branch of DEC office. From 1999 to 2002 Khrapkin was at Compaq’s headquarters in Munich as a Country Sales Manger for Latvia, Belarus and Moldova. His activity included channel network recruiting and management, multimillion project bidding and implementation, marketing, business planning and forecasting. During 2002-2005 Pavel was a Corporate Account Manager and Public Sector Business Development Manager for the Hewlett Packard CIS. In 2005 Pavel was appointed Regional Director fior CIS at Symantec.
