This mission begins on the homepage where a digital clock shows the number of hours of experience DataArt as a company has racked up since it was founded by Eugene Goland.
Time is a factor in almost all programming tasks, and time is also a thread running through the DataArt site. To the left of the digital clock are four analog clocks showing the time in DataArt's offices in New York, St. Petersburg, London, and Silicon Valley. The addresses and contact numbers for all offices are conveniently located at the bottom of the page.
The site's graphics, while not striking, are orderly, well spaced on a white background, and have a solid, technological feel. In addition, because of the small file sizes of the graphic elements, the pages load quickly.
"We built this site to look modern, professional, and to deliver our message clearly. Our previous site failed to do any of that," says Eugene Goland. "We needed a site that clearly demonstrates that our services offer a competitive advantage. Our secondary goal was to offer visitors many reasons and methods to contact us."
In the center of the homepage is a persuasive list of reasons to choose DataArt. Each heading, such as "Technology" draws visitors to convincing bullet points.
