DataArt NETChart Chart Control - Licensing

NETChart chart Control library is available under the licenses described below. Our component licensing model is different for ASP.NET edition and WinForms.NET edition. The final price of the product is depending on the license type applied, please check product prices for details. The same licensing model is applicable for any products with no regards to the version of Microsoft .NET Framework they are compatible with.

NETChart Chart Control for ASP.NET licensing

The following table describes available licensing options on DataArt NETChart Chart Control for ASP.NET:

License	Description
WebSite	Allows you to use DataArt NETChart Chart Control for ASP.NET on a single production web site (e.g. www.domain.com). Also all development time features including Microsoft Visual Studio design-time support, WYSIWYG editor, .NET data binding support etc. are covered by this license for unrestricted number of development seats.
Web Server	Allows you to use DataArt NETChart Chart Control for ASP.NET on an unlimited number of production web sites that are all located on one physical server. However, this server is allowed have no more than 1 CPU. Also all development time features including Microsoft Visual Studio design-time support, WYSIWYG editor, .NET data binding support etc. are covered by this license for unrestricted number of development seats.
Web ServerPlus	Allows you to use DataArt NETChart Chart Control for ASP.NET on an unlimited number of production web sites that are all located on one physical server. This server may have an unlimited number of CPUs. Also all development time features including Microsoft Visual Studio design-time support, WYSIWYG editor, .NET data binding support etc. are covered by this license for unrestricted number of development seats.
Redistributable	Allows you to redistribute DataArt NETChart Chart Control for ASP.NET or WinForms.NET charting component with chart control on an unlimited number of production web sites and servers as a part of your solution. Physical capacity of production servers are not restricted. Also all development time features including Microsoft Visual Studio design-time support, WYSIWYG editor, .NET data binding support etc. are covered by this license for unrestricted number of development seats.

Please note: There is no need to buy developer licenses for DataArt NETChart Chart Control for ASP.NET. Therefore you or your company will not be restricted with the number of developer seats available to work on projects where DataArt NETChart Chart Control for ASP.NET is used. Also, it will make easy to integrate the solution into the development infrastructure you are familiar with. You may install NETChart Chart Control for all build servers, testing computers and QA computers without any restrictions.

NETChart Chart Control for WinForms.NET licensing

The following table describes available licensing options on DataArt NETChart Chart Control for WinForms.NET:

License	Description
Developer	To install and use DataArt NETChart Chart Control for WinForms.NET charting component with chart control within your development environment, use development-time features like Microsoft Visual Studio design-time support, WYSIWYG editor, .NET data binding support etc. One license is requred per development seat.
Redistributable	Allows you to redistribute DataArt NETChart Chart Control for ASP.NET or WinForms.NET charting component with chart control on an unlimited number of production web sites and servers as a part of your solution. Physical capacity of production servers are not restricted. Also all development time features including Microsoft Visual Studio design-time support, WYSIWYG editor, .NET data binding support etc. are covered by this license for unrestricted number of development seats.

DataArt Releases Version 1.4 of NETChart Chart Control for Microsoft® .NET

DataArt released a new version of NETChart Chart Control for Microsoft .NET Framework, a powerful full featured charting solution for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. The release is completely dedicated to Microsoft WinForms.NET support, unavailable in the previous version of the charting component library. The solution now covers both commercially used platforms from Microsoft (Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0) and both ASP.NET and WinForms.NET technologies.

DataArt Releases Version 1.3 of NETChart Chart Control for Microsoft® ASP.NET

DataArt released a new version of its NETChart Chart Control for ASP.NET, a low cost charting solution for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. The new core feature of NETChart Chart Control 1.3 is its integration with Visual Studio 2005 and added functionality.

The new release allows developers to use NETChart Chart Control with both VS 2005 and VS2003, and to migrate their solutions to the new Microsoft VS 2005 platform. It supports side-by-side installation (NETChart chart Control for VS 2003/Framework 1.1 and NETChart Chart control for VS 2005/Framework 2.0), while leaving the core functionality intact for both versions – developers are free to choose the platform as required.
