(formerly TrueAudience) is a New York-based company that provides media companies and marketers with turn-key data integration software that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of online marketing activities by combining data mining, user profiling and advertising automation in a single, cost-effective marketing management system.
Having developed the first version of its Audience Management System in-house, Tacoda established an aggressive product development plan to meet the sales demand for the next release of its product. In order to develop the product within the tight timeframe and at a high quality standard, Tacoda needed a reliable software development partner. | DataArt formed a dedicated project team including project management, software development and quality assurance. The project was based on high-level requirements provided by Tacoda. DataArt implemented further detailed specifications, system design, development and testing.
DataArt worked in conjunction with Tacoda's product development team to create an effective joint work environment in New York and St. Petersburg, Russia. The time difference provided by offshore development effectively created 20-hour development cycles per day, thus reducing the overall calendar days needed to complete the project.
As a result of outsourcing development work to DataArt, Tacoda was able to get the system developed in an extremely short timeframe and at a much lower cost.
