At the quarterly DataArt conference on May 5, the board of directors summarized the past quarter's achievements and presented their view of prospects for the company's future growth and evolution.

Mikhail Zavileisky, director of the Saint Petersburg department, reported the last quarter's financial results, expectations for the next quarter and presented possibilities for DataArt's future development in personal and knowledge base areas. DataArt will continue to cultivate its knowledge base and operational skills, and facilitate their transfer from existing employees to new recruits through organized events such as meetings and seminars. Mikhail also reminded the conference of DataArt's forthcoming move to new premises in Saint Petersburg.

DataArt president Eugene Goland presented the results of a recent Board of Advisors meeting and talked about future activities concerning its recommendations. He also talked about a challenging new DataArt venture - the founding of Offshore Outsourcing Best Practices association, a community for small businesses in New York to share their experience in offshore outsourcing. There are a number of services available for large businesses in offshoring, but not so for small businesses. Small businesses face their own challenges, and the OOBP community will help them in the process of making offshore outsourcing choices.


DataArt's quarterly conference. Alexei Miller. DataArt Chief Production Manager Alexei Miller spoke about DataArt New York activity, sales and client communication. He reported on successes in the client communication and development processes. Alexei put forward his vision on what really works in marketing and sales activities.

Last, but not least, Alexey Filimonov, DataArt CTO, presented a number of new projects from the last quarter, including some which had started in the last few days. Project coordinators took part in Alexey's presentation and explained some of the projects' challenges.
