June 20, 2007DataArt debuted as an exhibitor at the Securities Industry Financial Markets Technology Management Show, June 19-21, in New York.
SIFMA's 27th annual Technology Management Conference & Exhibit is the industry's leading event with over 300 vendors and 7,000 attendees. The conference addressed the rapidly-changing world of technology and how the financial industry is using technology to drive productivity, comply with regulatory requirements, and adapt to converging markets, products and investors, while the show was comprised of leading financial technology firms.
DataArt executives have attended the show for the last several years, and in 2007 it was decided to join exhibitors. The company’s stand attracted a flow of visitors, interested in the company’s offering of complex application development services at competitive prices. As in previous years, DataArt executives focused on establishing partner relations with vendors of complimentary solutions presented at and visiting the show, in order to offer clients joint integration and deployment services. The discussions focused on areas of algorithmic trading, smart order routing, portfolio analytics, market data storage and stream based event processing. Several new relationships were initiated, and 2008 SIFMA Technology Management Show is on the calendar.
DataArt Receives Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Status
June 13, 2007
DataArt has received Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status and proved a new competency, Data Management Solutions (Business Intelligence). To secure this level of certification, DataArt had achieved a status of Small Business Specialist while receiving high scores in Microsoft Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) program.
Gold Certified Partners represent the highest level of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies, and provides the closest working relationship with Microsoft. At this level, DataArt will have access to the resources and support needed to stand out in the marketplace, including a Technical Services Coordinator and access to the Partner Knowledge Base, which in turn become an additional support for DataArt customers.
Designed for technology partners with proven competency in implementing Microsoft SQL Server solutions that feature data warehousing, business intelligence, online analytical processing (OLAP), data mining, and decision support, the competency has two areas of specialization: Business Intelligence, and Database Solutions. With proving this competency, DataArt solidified its standing as one of the leading technology providers in the segment.
“While proving its credentials for Microsoft Gold Partner Program, DataArt went through a rigorous customer satisfaction review process,” said Alexander Makeyenkov, Head of DataArt Finance. “I am especially pleased that the bulk of customer references came from DataArt’s financial services clients, for whom DataArt has recently implemented several custom solutions based on Microsoft .NET 3.0 technologies and the latest BI platform.”

June 01, 2007DataArt has completed an upgrade of 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ email system which permits automation and customization of e-mail communication to 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ growing membership base. The new system optimizes the functionality of existing mailing and communication structures, making the sophisticated workings of the database manageable and user friendly.

DataArt has also developed customizable e-mail lists and an online shared calendar.
“As 100 Women in Hedge Funds grows, we need to rely more heavily on technology-based solutions for appropriate and efficient communications. Partnering with DataArt to upgrade our email system was the first step to improve targeted communication to our 6,000 members,” said Amanda Pullinger, Executive Director of 100 Women in Hedge Funds.
“For a decade, DataArt has been helping leading financial institutions and financial technology firms eliminate technology execution risks and streamline their business communication processes,” said Vica Vinogradova, Vice President of Corporate Communications at DataArt and a member of 100 Women in Hedge Funds. “We are happy to have been of assistance to 100 Women in Hedge Funds in their efforts to strengthen their membership communications infrastructure.”
