February 24, 2005DataArt's Sergey Tikhomirov attended Intel’s exclusive Winter Development School.
Tikhomirov, a four-time Russian Mathematics Olympics champion, was chosen to participate in the parallel programming workshop in Nijniy Novgorod as one of the best Russian developers.
Parallel programming is used in multiple and high-accuracy calculations (airplanes construction, molecular and explosive force computations) and in enterprise multiple calculations (cargo transportation control systems and optimal route calculations).
"These are the technologies of the future. OpenMP, MPI and DVM provide a dynamic balance and allow to solve an expanded range of problems. OpenTS technology is an excellent tool for scientific research and will be an invaluable asset once it’s commercially released", said Sergey Tikhomirov.
