Saturday Photocross - keeping with citizen rhythms
October 16, 2004Two DataArt employees recently took part in a newly established city activity - the St. Petersburg Photocross. Alexey Pchelintsev and Elizaveta Shtoffspent their Saturday morning trying to capture on film moments of urban life that fulfill the contest's requirements. Essentially, Photocross participants were asked to find and shoot 10 items from a task list. Various themes on the list included, but were not limited to, people, places, and creativity. Specific things were also suggested as photo targets.
"It's almost impossible to find twins on the city streets when you are looking for them," said Elizaveta. "Even more frustrating is that I met two pairs of twins on the day after the contest!"
