July 12, 2004DataArt has entered into an outsourcing agreement with Network Physics -
a pioneer developer of high-end network management systems. Based in
Mountain View, CA, Network Physics develops management solutions that
enable Global 2000 enterprises to align IT with business objectives.
Using these solutions, enterprises can, for the first time, dynamically
connect network performance to business priorities, radically simplify
management complexity, and reduce operating expenses.
DataArt will operate as an extension to Network Physics' existing
development and QA team, so the cultural and operational fit between the
two teams is crucial. DataArt and Network Physics crafted gradual and
careful knowledge transfer processes. The work is performed with a
combination of on-site and offshore resources.
Given the highly complex and performance sensitive nature of Network
Physics' software, DataArt is bringing together a senior team of UNIX
professionals, network application developers and QA engineers.
DataArt's tasks will include releasing QA, testing automation and
Research and Development.
Mark Crane, Director of Engineering for Network Physics, greeted DataArt by saying, "Welcome to Network Physics! I see this partnership as a great new direction for product development and delivery for our customers."
