Dmitry Bagrov (Senior VP, European Business)
Dmitry Bagrov leads the project management department in DataArt's St. Petersburg offices, and has been with the company since 2000.
During DataArt's partnership with Port.ru, a leading Russian portal, Bagrov managed a quarter of all Port.ru projects. He has worked at DataArt's New York headquarters, contributing to sales efforts and participating in one of the first offshore projects, commissioned by MTA, the largest transport company in New York, after which he returned to St. Petersburg in 2002 as head of Client Management department.
DataArt UK
In 2002 Bagrov took on management of an important strategic relationship - the company's partnership with DataArt UK. With his ability to organize and delegate tasks, his clear logical thinking and his fluent command of English, Bagrov combined a substantial number of DataArt's British projects and spearheaded their execution with DataArt UK.
Bagrov's inexhaustible enthusiasm, energy and capacity to work helped create an atmosphere of trust and strong relations between DataArt's London office and the company's main workforce. Dmitry is the leader of the UK department. The overall amount of project hours undertaken for DataArt UK under Bagrov's management is close to 25,000.
Strategy and Management
Dmitry Bagrov is an observer at DataArt's Board of Directors. He is present at all Board meetings and is an invaluable aid in making key decisions regarding client relations.
Bagrov holds that it is always possible to find the best person for every job; in this sense, he is the ideal coordinator. He manages to find the balance between delegating tasks and taking personal responsibility in every project, and insists that the manager is ultimately responsible for the successful outcome. This outlook earned him a reputation of a dependable and industrious leader, among clients and colleagues alike.
Previous experience
Prior to joining DataArt, Bagrov was a project coordinator for Peterlink, a premier Russian telecommunications provider.
Education
Bagrov graduated from the prestigious Saint Petersburg State University, and holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the department of Mathematics and Mechanics.
Apart from his formal education, Bagrov studied Sociology at the University of Munich and has extensively traveled through Europe. It is safe to say that Dmitry is the European face of DataArt.
Bagrov graduated from high-school #45, considered one of the best schools in the field of Physics and Mathematics, which was also attended by Mikhail Zavileysky and Alexei Miller.
