March 25, 2005DataArt is proud to report that Network Physics has renewed its relationship with DataArt's dedicated QA team to test a new version of a network monitoring device. DataArt has successfully completed a QA cycle for the previous version of the software, and participated in the Development cycle of the new one.
In the new QA engagement, DataArt will utilize an automatic test package it developed during the Development cycle, used for regression testing (performed on automated nightly builds)and functioning as a supplementary quality tool for identifying problems at early stages. During the QA cycle these automatic tests will help save time and effort, as they cover the most complicated and labor-intensive parts of the test plan, and can be repeated at any time either automatically or manually.

The seminar covered the basics principals and benefits of CRM systems as well as DataArt's experience in developing them. Additionally, Zavileysky discussed possible advantages and drawbacks of presented examples. DataArt has developed over a dozen various CRM systems for its clients.
Beta delivery stage of Cancer Research UK Project is marked as success
March 07, 2005DataArt is happy to announce that beta version of Application Management System was successfully demonstrated in Cancer Research UK offices. The system has been under development since October 2004 and is an important milestone. The work of DataArt's development team received many compliments from the client for the technical excellence and professionalism.
Application Management System is a complicated web-application, based on ASP.NET technology. In the process of its development, DataArt's team had to solve many unordinary tasks, such as: complicated users workflows, multistage roles and entity-based security, implementation of PDF-generation and many others.
DataArt's Project Manager Daniel Chertock returned from London, where he demonstrated the beta version of the AMS system. "The demo actually took two days, due to the system's system complexity, and went quite smoothly. Project Supervisors from Cancer Research UK had a lot of technical inquires, but in general there was no negative feedback, and most of the remarks were in the area of fine-tuning and clarifications", Chertok said.
Cancer Research UK is one of the world's leading charities dedicated to research on the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer. It supports the work of over 3,000 scientists, doctors and nurses across the UK and funds many other scientists at UK Universities. Cancer Research UK's annual scientific spend is more than £213 million, which is raised almost entirely through public donations.
DataArt doubles revenue in 2004
March 03, 2005DataArt has announced 100% revenue growth, to over four million dollars, in 2004. The company attributes its success to calculated efforts in acquiring key accounts in the financial services industry, mainly asset management institutions. "We have acquired unique expertise in developing software for hedge funds. Now that the word is out, we are happy to see a very nice ripple effect in the industry", explained DataArt's President Eugene Goland.
Over 20 new companies became clients of DataArt in 2004.
DataArt and Microsoft Russia hold CRM seminar
March 02, 2005DataArt and Microsoft Russia held a CRM systems seminar at DataArt's St. Petersburg R&D center, addressing the issues of developing new and optimizing existing client relationship management systems.
DataArt's Vladimir Gabriel presented options of utilizing CRM systems, outlining their functionality and effectiveness in improving the sales processes. Microsoft's Vitaliy Titov presented an overview of Microsoft's CRM system and shared success stories. DataArt's COO Mikhail Zavileysky described the practical experience of using various CRM systems and emphasized that CRM is also a powerful tool for Customer Relationship Marketing and Company Reputation Management.
DataArt has expertise with effectively utilizing existing systems (Microsoft CRM and Goldmine) and with developing custom CRM systems for its clients.
