DataArt's CFO attends roundtable with NASDAQ
October 25, 2004DataArt's CFO, Svetlana Janson, recently attended a roundtable held by the St. Petersburg Chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia and the Center for Business Ethics and Corporate Governance. At the meeting was the newly appointed director of NASDAQ operations in Russia and CIS, Paulina McGroarty. Svetlana wanted to find out more about the prospects of businesses going public and also about NASDAQ plans to establish long-term relations with Russia.
"Due to Russia's strong and steady growth over the past few years, the healthy fiscal situation due to high oil prices, and the government's stated support for reform in many sectors of the economy, NASDAQ officials believe that the time is approaching for companies to think about expanding operations and incurring debt," roundtable founders said.
The roundtable was inspired by NASDAQ starting its expansion into Russia and showing an interest for Russian companies to become public.
DataArt's interest in such a roundtable is attributed to one of our areas of core competence, financial expertise. Having significant experience working in the hedge fund and asset management industry, DataArt is interested in similar possibilities.
Network Physics team visits DataArt's St. Petersburg Development Center.
October 22, 2004Executives from Network Physics, a California-based provider of advanced network management solutions have visited DataArt's Development Center in St. Petersburg, Russia. Network Physics has been working with DataArt on a series of QA and development projects for the last six months and confirmed that it is interested in continuing the relationship.
Rob Hon, Vice President of Engineering and Mark Crane, Director of System Integration, inspected DataArt's workspace and Data Center, audited on-going projects and presented Network Physics technology strategy. The meetings were extremely helpful in aligning both team's vision of future projects and process improvement areas. Rob Hon commented:
