Mikhail Vaynshenker  Mikhail has 20 years experience in the IT industry, including information engineering, project management and system design, and modeling and optimization of information services. He has over 15 years of expertise in the financial services industry, specializing in transaction processing, risk management applications, regulatory and compliance solutions. Mikhail provided technical leadership and management expertise on projects for major Wall Street firms and software development start-ups.
Mikhail's development projects have included the design and implementation of the first expert system for insider trading and market manipulation detection for the New York Stock Exchange and Sailfish VaR risk measurement software product for Reuters. He is principal designer and design contributor of several software products such as DBA* and DB Browser.
Mikhail is Chief Architect of Actimize, Inc. - anti-money laundering, regulatory and compliance software solution provider. He is the principal of Comtek Laboratories, high-tech management consulting practice and the founder of AVM New Wave, Inc, an Internet and information services company. Mikhail is on advisory board of GreenPoint, Inc. developer of WebCharts3D software OEM product since 2002. From February 2000 to June 2001, he was the Non-Executive Director (board member) and Chief Technology Officer of BrainDock.com, wireless e-commerce provider which went public on London Stock Exchange (AIM) in June 2000. From 1998 to February 2000, he was the Executive Board Member and Chief Information Officer of the US-Latvian bank, Rietumu Banka.
Mikhail holds two masters degrees in Applied Mathematics from Riga Polytechnic University and MS, Computer Science from City University of New York.
