Dimitri Sogoloff

Mr. Sogoloff worked in Convertible Arbitrage since 1986. At Alexandra, he is responsible for the firm-wide risk management, technology, operations and business strategy development. Prior to co-founding Alexandra, Mr. Sogoloff was Vice President, Capital Markets, at LIT America, Inc., where he worked in the convertible bond department with Mr. Filimonov. In that capacity, he was responsible for client and proprietary trading as well as various corporate finance projects. There, he developed the quantitative analytical tools and mathematical models for evaluating arbitrage strategies. From 1989 to 1990, Mr. Sogoloff was with Baring Securities Inc. in New York. There, he was a trader in the Euro-convertible bond department. From 1986 to 1989, he was with Quadrex Securities Inc., where he was a market maker in convertible bonds and warrants. It was there that he began developing computerized models to assist in trading and evaluating opportunities in relative value arbitrage.

Mr. Sogoloff has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Masters of Business Administration, both from Columbia University. He is a member of the New York Society of Quantitative Analysts, the American Finance Society, the American Management Association and the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
